Adelaide Premiere of Mystic India On the evening of 10 June 2009, Mystic India premiered in the heart of Adelaide at the Capri Theatre – a traditional-style heritage theatre built in 1941. This was the fourth Australian city in which Mystic India has premiered, following on from the film’s success in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Among the VIPs and guests present were the Mayor of the City of Adelaide, Mayors of others councils of Adelaide, MPs, media representatives and business leaders. The Premier of the State of South Australia, Mike Rann, sent a letter of support for Mystic India in which he also commended the work of BAPS in Australia. After viewing the film, the invited guests appreciated Mystic India’s message of unity in diversity and cherished this unique experience of an inspirational journey through India. The Adelaide Premiere of Mystic India was followed by four scheduled screenings which captivated a total audience of almost 1,200. |
